I am a thirty two year old career woman and I feel that I need to have a steady relationship fast because I am not getting any younger any more.  Perhaps because I think highly of myself and I am more focused on the success of my career, I have disregarded my love life for a while and my being picky with guys has led me to frustrations. Together with my other friend Belinda, we signed up for a national speed dating somewhere in Sydney to find  guys fast and quick.  There were eight girls and eight guys during the event and we took turns trying to date each other and as the bell rings, we changed partners.  Although this may seem ridiculous, I totally enjoyed the experience and got to meet interesting guys around the country.  I picked Jake, and have since dated in the normal pace (smile).  I know that love works in a mysterious way and that even if I had been picky all my life, I was able to pick my guy in a few hours through speed dating.  This is perfect for busy people like me!
